Archive CMS CoP Satellite Broadcast available

CMS’s Survey and Certification Group aired a taped satellite broadcast that provided an overview of the new hospice Conditions of Participation-Subpart C on January 22, 2009.  The event was open for hospice providers to view the broadcast, but due to a number of technical difficulties, the program was not viewable as a broadcast.

NHPCO was in contact with the CMS Survey and Certification staff during the broadcast to make them aware of the hospice industry’s inability to view the broadcast and their disappointment in the transmission quality.  CMS apologized for the technical difficulties and stated that they would make NHPCO aware when the program was available to view as an archive program.

The program is now available for viewing on the CMS Survey and Certification’s webpage as an archived webcast. To access the CMS Survey and Certification archived webcast page, click here. Scroll down the page to the Select a Video Player Option to choose the view mode for your computer and the broadcast will start.
