NHPCO educational activities and programs provide continuing education/continuing medical education credit for:
CE/CME credit is provided as appropriate and as approved. The specific CE/CME to be offered by each educational activity is included with the activity’s description and objectives.
The material presented at NHPCO educational activities and programs represents the opinions of the speakers and not necessarily the views of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO), Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC).
All speakers are required to disclose to program participants any relevant financial relationships with a commercial interest whose products or services are utilized in the provision of hospice or palliative care. A commercial interest is any proprietary entity producing health care goods and services with the exception of non-profit or government organizations and non-health related companies. If a speaker has relationships that create a conflict of interest, they are resolved by NHPCO prior to the provision of the educational program. Disclosure information is included in materials sent to participants in advance of the educational activity or program.
