Webinar Description
Despite little discussion of suicide, many hospice professionals will likely encounter situations where patients and/or families consider hastening the patient’s death. This Webinar will describe the latest research related to suicidal intent and will identify interventions and strategies to help you assess and work with hospice patients and families in these challenging situations. In addition, faculty will describe how personal factors may impact your comfort level in discussing this issue with patients and families as well as discuss resources for families in these cases.
