The course will cover the various forms of elder abuse in detail including signs and symptoms, assessment and typical abusers. As care providers you are on the front line to assess and identify victims of elder abuse. This program is meant to introduce you to the fundamental concepts of abuse and provide you with basic assessment skills necessary to recognize the various types of elder abuse and identify the typical abuser.
