This course provides an overview of the safe handling, use and disposal of hazardous chemicals in the workplace. The intended audience for this course is all home health and hospice employees.

• Identify hazardous chemicals in your work area
• Describe the potential health and physical hazards of such chemicals
• Explain the purpose and use of labeling and Material Safety Data Sheets
• Discuss measures to protect yourself and others from hazardous chemicals
• Identify the steps to follow when a chemical spill or exposure occurs

In order to complete this online course, the participant must view the entire course, correctly answer all case studies and quiz questions and complete the evaluation. No CE/CME is offered for this course.
