The Hospice-Veteran Partnership (HVP) Program is a collaborative effort between the department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). HVPs are comprised mainly of VA facilities and community hospices, the two primary providers of hospice care for Veterans. In this course you will learn about the stakeholder groups that should be involved, why HVPs are important to these stakeholder groups, and how to start a partnership, keep it going, and evaluate its successes.

In order to complete this online course, the participant must view the entire course, correctly answer all quiz questions and complete the evaluation.
