The course provides an overview of infectious waste and regulations that govern the storage, transportation and disposal of infectious waste. It details contamination procedures and protection against exposure. The intended audience is home health and hospice aides and all home care and hospice clinical care providers. This course meets the home health and hospice aide requirements from CMS for 12 clock hours of education per year.
