Wound Care Basics is available for 90 days after enrollment.

This course provides an overview of wound care strategies for the most common wounds managed in the home environment. This course focuses on wound assessment, prevention strategies, and management guidelines. You will learn how to describe risk factors for skin breakdown, demonstrate the ability to perform and document a comprehensive wound assessment, identify the type of wound based on assessment findings and the patient’s history, and how to verbalize treatment strategies to promote wound healing based on the type of wound identified.

Objectives:
