As the field of palliative care develops, standards of care and quality services are essential. In response to this need, the Palliative Care Team at HackensackUMC pursued and obtained the Joint Commission’s Advanced Palliative Care program certification. Through shared experiences, the audience will have a starting point and a project plan to begin their journey towards certification.
