NHPCO offers the following continuing education/continuing medical education (CE/CME) credits for most of its educational activities.  Please check the details for each educational activity for information on the type and amount of CE/CME credit offered. 

Counselor: The National Hospice and Palliative Care Program is an NBCC-Approved Continuing Education Provider (ACEP) and may offer NBCC-approved clock hours for events (or programs) that meet NBCC requirements. Sessions (or programs) for which NBCC approved clock hours will be awarded are identified in the program bulletin (or in the catalogue or Web site). The ACEP is solely responsible for all aspects of the Program.

Nurses NHPCO is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Physicians NHPCO is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Social Workers Continuing education credit for Social Workers has been applied for through The National Association of Social Worker (provider number 886414158).
