America’s homeless Veterans have served in World War II, the Korean War, Cold War, Vietnam War, Afghanistan and Iraq, and a number of other conflicts. Nearly half of homeless Veterans served during the Vietnam era. This course will review the demographics and key characteristics of homeless Veterans, describe VA programs designed to assist homeless Veterans and providers of services for them and list some ways in which community providers can assist homeless Veterans.
