As part of the 2012 Board of Directors election, members will be voting on a series of changes that were unanimously endorsed by the NHPCO Board of Directors.  Many of the proposed changes are necessary to comply with the District of Columbia Nonprofit Corporation Act of 2010.  As a DC corporation, NHPCO is required to have the new provisions in place by January 1, 2013. 

The newly required amendments gave the board the opportunity to review and/or address other bylaw issues that have arisen since the bylaws were last amended in 2009.  Those changes along with the required changes are described in the amendment summary and draft bylaws documents linked below.
