What is NCHPP?
The National Council of Hospice and Palliative Professionals (NCHPP) was created to support hospice and palliative professionals and provide resources for professional and skills development. As a member of NCHPP, you are a professional member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization and will receive member benefits intended for professionals.
Mission of NCHPP
Enhance the integrity of the hospice and palliative care interdisciplinary team by advancing the development of hospice and palliative care professionals.
To fulfill the mission, the Council developed the following goals:

Provide education, recognition, leadership opportunities and mutual support for professionals.

Provide a voice for the professionals and the interdisciplinary teams within NHPCO.

Act as a resource to the board and staff with regard to professional issues, education and research.

Encourage active participation in the Council.

Collaborate with specialty and allied professional organizations.

Education and Training
No matter what your role in the end-of-life care community, NHPCO has educational opportunities for you. Attend our annual Clinical Team Conference, Management and Leadership Conference, and join us from your office twice a month for our Webinars. Take courses on-demand or scheduled through NHPCO’s EDGE. Participate in the Hospice Manager Development Program (Hospice-MDP), a comprehensive, hospice-specific training course designed to expand your leadership capacity. Using live workshops at state and national meetings in combination with distance-learning modules, participants can complete three levels of MDP training that cover areas such as problem solving, ethics, standards of care, and people management. Professional Sections
Whether you are a clinician, administrator, counselor, or other hospice professional, there is a section for you (you can choose up to two (2) section preferences on the application form). The NCHPP Sections are a perfect way to network, share ideas, and explore leadership opportunities at the national level through your Section's Steering Committee.
