What is an MP3 File? An MP3 file is an audio file that can be downloaded onto your computer. Downloading an MP3 is similar to downloading a document to your computer and can be done easily. After an MP3 file is downloaded to your computer you are able to “share” the MP3 file. Just as you can share document files, you can share MP3 files. There are many options for sharing an MP3:
- Burn it to a disc (which can then upload the MP3 file to other computers or played using a CD player)
- Post it to a shared folder within the organization that is accessible to all employees
- Sent it as an attachment in an email
- Download it to an MP3 Player (i.e. an ipod)
