Join NHPCO in beautiful and rustic Albuquerque, New Mexico for this important conference. We will offer educational sessions focused on psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual needs at the end of life.  There will be opportunities for you to meet colleagues to share your successes and challenges and have time to reflect upon the meaning, value and purpose of the work you do. 

Intensive educational sessions will cover a variety of topics and provide the attendees the opportunity to:

  • Define psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual needs at the end of life
  • Identify best practices in psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual support in end-of-life care
  • Acquire advanced skills for psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual practice in end-of-life care
  • Recognize the role of psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual professionals in facilitating access to appropriate care near the end of life
  • Determine the quality applications for improved psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual care at the end of life
  • Distinguish psychosocial, bereavement and spiritual care professionals’ unique contributions to interdisciplinary care 
  • Identify opportunities to increase access to palliative and hospice care through psychosocial and spiritual interventions.

Who should attend? 
Interdisciplinary professionals and volunteers working in palliative, hospice, bereavement, community coalitions and other care settings as well as those who manage, administer and supervise these programs/professionals.
