Hospice Claims Processing Issue Update
This morning, Friday October 12, 2012, NHPCO received communication from CMS about the billing glitch that is affecting all hospice claims. CMS reports that a “fix” has been developed for the certifying physician billing issue (2310F) and if testing goes well, the “fix” will be in production on October 19, 2012.
CMS states that in the meantime, providers can file claims manually using the DDE system.
