Conference Objectives

MLC 2016 participants will be provided opportunities to realize these conference objectives:

  • Spark creative ideas to spur leaders to action within their organizations, communities and region; 
  • Design innovative strategies to lead through and despite the changing hospice and palliative care landscape;
  • Create organizational systems and processes to adapt to changing circumstances;
  • Discuss approaches to creative leadership and employee engagement in hospice and palliative care organizations;
  • Provide tools to ensure the provision of quality, evidence-based, ethical, effective and efficient end-of-life care;
  • Discuss adaptive strategies to respond to changes in the regulatory, health policy and healthcare landscapes;
  • Analyze innovative approaches to improve access to hospice and palliative care by underserved and marginalized populations; 
  • Highlight exceptional quality assessment and performance improvement practices.
