Next March, hospice and palliative care leaders will gather in-person to inspire new possibilities, share innovations, and shape the future for person-centered care.

LAC22 is the premier conference for leaders and aspiring leaders working to advance the field of hospice and palliative care. While not the only professional development opportunity in the year, LAC22 is the only in-person conference scheduled for 2022. Additional, innovative programming will be shared as it is finalized.

This reimagined conference will explore:

      • Managing the Health Care of Individuals Living with Serious Illness
      • Transforming the Health Care Delivery System
      • Navigating a Post-Pandemic World
      • Building Interdisciplinary Team Leadership

Invest in time for genuine conversations and contemplations. The conference will include ample networking, focused topic discussions, and time for team building and application.

Leveling Up
Developing aspiring leaders is good for your entire organization. Now more than ever, it is imperative that aspiring leaders are up-to-date on current issues and building skills as they advance ensuring your organization does not miss a beat in the competitive environment. At the conference they can build a peer group to lead hospice and palliative care forward.

Conference content will advance our work while remaining true to our roots, of person- and family-centered, interdisciplinary care.

We look forward to coming together next March. Please join hospice and palliative care leaders and aspiring leaders from across the country to be a part of this exciting, new learning experience.

Safety is a Priority
NHPCO has adopted a “Vaccination Required” approach for all attendees, faculty, exhibitors, and NHPCO staff at LAC22. In practice, this means all LAC22 attendees, faculty, exhibitors and NHPCO staff will provide proof of their COVID-19 “full vaccination” to gain access to LAC22. For more information review the Health and Safety Protocols.

NHPCO continues to actively monitor the ongoing public health emergency, including the latest COVID-19 variant Omicron. The safety of all involved with LAC22 is our ultimate concern and we commit to making safe and responsible decisions.  At this time, we do not have news of a change to the conference as currently envisioned. All conference announcements will be communicated via the NHPCO website, email, and social media.
