Continuing Education/Continuing Medical Education (CE/CME)

The 2022 Leadership and Advocacy Conference (LAC22) offers CE/CME credit for Compliance Officers, Nurses, Physicians, and Social Workers who attend the live conference in National Harbor, MD (live activities). The conference also offers an on-demand library (enduring material) for Compliance Officers, Nurses, and Physicians. The material presented in the education sessions represents the opinions of the faculty and not necessarily the views of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO); the Compliance Certification Board (CCB); the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC); The Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME); and the National Association of Social Workers (NASW).

Please Note: Attendees must select their desired credit type(s) upon registration for the conference. Credit type(s) must be selected prior to the start of the conference and cannot be changed once the conference has started. To check your selected credit type once registered, login to the Attendee Service Center, select “Registration Edit,” and the “Edit” link. Navigate to the second page “CE Credits” to verify or change your selection. Make sure to hit “Continue” until the final page to “Complete Registration.” If you have registration questions or need assistance, please contact conferences@nhpco.org.

Credit hours are determined based on individual attendance/participation and evaluation of each session and may be less than the maximum number offered. In addition, the amount of CE/CME credit available is subject to change.

Participants registered for the In-Person conference will have access to both the live sessions (live activity) and on-demand library (enduring material).

This chart indicates the number of credit/clock hours available for each type of educational session (live/on-demand). The type of CE/CME credit offered for each individual session may be found on the LAC22 website and on the LAC22 Mobile App.

Social Work is limited to live activities only. Social Workers and Compliance Officers may request a Certificate of Participation for Non-physician Healthcare Professionals for enduring content that is not approved by their certifying body.
