  • Journal of Pain and Symptom Management This is NHPCO’s official, peer-reviewed journal, providing results of important new research and clinical information related to pain management and palliative care. It is published monthly by the leading health and science publisher, Elsevier, with readership that extends to the broader medical community.  Some articles are made available to NHPCO members, free of charge; however, members may subscribe to JPSM—and receive all 12 issues—at greatly reduced rates.

  • NHPCO also publishes these e-newsletters, with more targeted content: Regulatory Round-Up, summarizing recent regulatory and compliance issues and changes; and the ChiPPS Pediatric Palliative Care Journal, providing guidance within this very specialized area of practice from authorities in the field.
  • Podcast Advertising - The official podcast of NHPCO features experts discussing important regulatory, compliance and quality topics relevant to the field. Released the first and third Tuesday of every month, advertising on a podcast features a brief message read by the podcast host with an accompanying website link on the podcast web page.     • Mailing List Rental
      • One complimentary set of mailing labels -- Just place your request during your year of membership and you can receive the postal mailing list for member hospice programs. Your Associate member complimentary mailing labels can be ordered from our mail house partner Infocus Marketing (800-708-5478 or at sales@infocusmarketing.com) and they can walk you the process. They will request that you submit a copy of what will be mailed with the list for NHPCO approval. Once the mailer is approved they can release the labels.

        Note: NHPCO mailing lists will not be released for employment recruitment mailings (the appropriate place for that would be posting jobs through our CareerCenter) or research surveys unless first cleared by our Research department in our Office of Public Policy. Also, if the mailing is for an event that falls close to NHPCO’s MLC or Intensives conferences it may not be selected for approval.
