Mentee Qualifications & Responsibilities (CEO)

CEO/Executive Director Mentoring Program

  • The mentee must be in the executive hospice leadership role serving as the Executive Director, CEO or President of a hospice organization with 18 months or less experience in this position.
  • The mentee will need to complete an online application and submit a resume and commitment agreement.
  • The mentee must be available for at least one monthly phone call with the mentor and be willing to communicate via email with the mentor on a regular basis, based on the needs of the mentee and the arrangement made between the mentor and mentee.
  • The mentee will establish at least three (3) goals he/she would like to achieve as a result of having a mentor.
  • Participate in a mentee orientation conference call to go over details of the project.
  • The mentee will need to respond to a 3-month and 6-month evaluation survey during the course of the project.
  • The mentee will need to commit to the success of the mentor/mentee relationship.
