NHPCO’s Hospice Manager Development Program Summer School

Economical Option to Quickly Acquire Hospice-Specific Management Skills

(Alexandria, Va) – For the first time ever, individuals interested in developing their skills as hospice managers can complete Levels I and II of NHPCO’s highly acclaimed Hospice Manager Development Program (MDP) in three short months from home or office.

Via the Internet, participants will experience the MDP two-day foundational course broadcast live from NHPCO’s National Center for Care at the End of Life in June 8-9, 2011. Subsequent courses will be available via instructor-led, Webinar and/or self-paced modules based on a participant’s individual schedule and learning preferences.  Levels I and II of the MDP can be completed before Labor Day 2011.

Participants will complete 13 learning modules for a special “MDP Summer School” reduced package price.  Participants also receive a discount on the final MDP Level – Level III, enabling managers to complete the program before the end of the year.

After completing the two-day course June 8-9, the rest of the modules can be taken whenever it is convenient to the participant.   The Hospice MDP Summer School offers flexibility so that participants can easily complete the program regardless of summer vacation plans.
