Welcome to Quality Partners, NHPCO’s national performance improvement program designed “by hospice, for hospice” to ensure all provider organizations deliver quality care to patients and families. Quality Partners offers hospice providers a clear framework for a 360 degree surveillance of both clinical and non-clinical areas to help your hospice assess and monitor the quality of care and services you provide, and determine areas in need of improvement. In addition, Quality Partners provides resources and tools to aid you in demonstrating organizational excellence and improvement efforts across all areas of your hospice's operations.

10 Components of Quality - NHPCO and members of its Quality and Standards Committee have identified Ten Components of Quality for hospice care. These components are the building blocks for Quality Partners and represent a comprehensive framework for organizing, assessing and monitoring a hospice’s clinical and non-clinical operations.
Self-Assessment System - The Quality Partners Self-Assessment system is designed to help hospice providers take a 360 degree look at all aspects of their organization, from the bedside to the boardroom, with the goal of improving quality throughout the organization. Participation in the Self-Assessment program enables hospices to ensure that the organizational structure and practices are in place to facilitate the provision of quality care.
