CMS has posted the latest hospice provider preview reports and Hospice Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS®) Survey ®. Providers can access their two separate reports in their Certification and Survey Provider Enhanced Reports (CASPER) non-validation reports folder.

CMS encourages hospice providers to review their Hospice Item Set (HIS) quality measure results from Quarter 4- 2016 to Quarter 3-2017 and their facility-level CAHPS® survey results from Quarter 4, 2015 to Quarter 3, 2017. Providers have 30-days to review their HIS and CAHPS® results (June 1, 2018 through June 30, 2018). 

Should a provider believe there is inaccurate data or errors in the HIS or the CAHPS® Survey data, they may request CMS review.
