Hannah Yang Moore, MPH, is the Chief Advocacy Officer of NHPCO. Previously she served as NHPCO’s Director of Strategic Initiatives & Partnerships.

Ms. Yang Moore started at NHPCO in April 2018, bringing over 20 years of experience in federal policy development, advocacy, and research. Prior to joining NHPCO, she served in the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) working on Medicare, Medicaid, Health Insurance Exchange, and Health IT policy development. Before joining the federal government in 2010, Ms. Yang Moore was a Principal Policy Analyst for the Kaiser Commission on Medicaid and the Uninsured at the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation. She has served in the NYC Mayor’s Office of Health Insurance Access and conducted policy analysis at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, CA, and RTI International in Research Triangle Park, NC.

Ms. Yang Moore earned a Bachelor of Science degree in public health from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Master of Public Health degree from the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health. She resides in Alexandria with her husband and two children.
