Linda began her Navy career in November 1986 in Newport, Rhode Island. She served during Desert Shield/Desert Storm and received extensive medical training in Prehospital Trauma Life Support. Following September 11, 2001, she served as a member of Global War On Terrorism, Operation Noble Eagle, Operations: Enduring Freedom/Iraqi Freedom . Her final duty station was Marine Boot Camp Paris Island providing field medical support for young Marine Recruits.
Linda says “The Honors Program Pinning Ceremony allows me to give back, being there when called upon and to pay my respect to all Veterans who wore the uniform before me. To provide each Veteran their final salute and to express heartfelt gratitude for what they endured is gratifying. No one left behind is the Military Code Of Honor.” Linda has dedicated more than 2,000 hours to Empath Tidewell Hospice and is trained not only as a Veteran volunteer but also in caring touch and as a caring clown. She is also dedicated to the Honor Flight organization and serves as an escort for those going to Washington, DC.
